Dark Light volume 2, 2007
Dark Light is the resolution of a series of trips to Iceland during the summer and winter months, in collaboration with painter Kathryn Thomas and sound artist Simon Whetham.
The images explore the extremes of season, night and day and the relationship between the physical and the psychological landscape, evidenced in Icceland's rich mythological traditions.
The images appear in a boxed set of two hand-made concertina artist books and were exhibited in Rekjavik City Hall at the invitation of the Winter Lights Festival 2007.
